Ty Glas crossing 'to reopen next week'
The pedestrian level crossing at Ty Glas station is due to reopen next week, it has been reported. Councillors for Heath and Birchgrove posted on Facebook that Transport for Wales has confirmed with them that it is planning to reopen the crossing on Friday 24 October. As we reported in the summer , the station itself is set to remain closed until spring 2026 to allow for upgrades to accommodate the new trains.
