Cardiff Council is inviting residents to have their say on the future of Welsh‑medium secondary education. The Council wants to hear from parents and carers, learners, school staff and the wider community about what matters most to them when it comes to Welsh‑medium education in Cardiff. There will be in-person events in North Cardiff, including a drop-in session at Llanishen Hub on Thursday (19 February) and a public meeting at Lisvane Memorial Hall on Tuesday 24 February.

Road closures for Six Nations rugby games
Wales hosts its first home game of the 2026 Guinness Men's Six Nations Championship this Sunday (15 February), and as usual there will be road closures for this and the other home matches. Rhiwbina improvements to start next week
Work is due to begin next week (16 February) on improvements in Rhiwbina village as part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Scheme (NRS).
