A locally made animated short film has released a new trailer this week.
A Fish Out of Water, produced by our own Andy Weltch from a script he co-wrote with award-winning Rhiwbina-born and -raised Rob Lancey, is expected to hit the festival circuit this summer.
The trailer is animated by the film's director, Matthew Creed, and features the voice talents of Robert Daws as the protagonist, Henry Godliman, hinting at the unforgettable experience which he encounters in a seemingly quiet West Country town.
Robert is a familiar face from many TV series, including Jeeves and Wooster, Outside Edge, Roger Roger, The Royal, and Poldark.

Described as 'a Victorian tale of the fantastical and bizarre' and set in an alternative version of the 1890s, the film follows the events which unfold when Henry - a 'chronicler of the extraordinary' - arranges to hear the tales of three sailors, just returned from a long sea voyage.
You can see the trailer here.
The script is based on Andy's original story and was recently selected for a third international film festival.
With designs by Anthony Richards and music and sound by Charlie Diggle, it also features the voices of Francesca Louise White, Richard Oliver, and Samantha Hudson.
You can find out more on the film's IMDb page.
