We are named top information platform in Wales - again!

We are very pleased to announce that Rhiwbina Info has again been named Information Platform of the Year in the Prestige Awards for Wales.

This is the second year running that we have received the award, which recognises the quality of our website, with its news service, business directory, and events calendar.

The Corporate Livewire Prestige Awards have been running for more than 20 years, recognising small and medium-sized businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months.

The judging panel base their decisions on areas such as service excellence, quality of the product or service provided, innovative practices, value, ethical or sustainable methods of working, as well as consistency in performance.

We previously won the Prestige award for Cardiff and South Wales in 2020, and last year received recognition at Wales-wide level for the first time.

Rhiwbina Info was established in 2013, taking over from the Rhiwbina Local site, created by local couple Emily and Nigel.

The small team at local communications business Weltch Media introduced the popular events calendar, and built up its social media presence on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram.

The site is currently managed by Sophie Platt, Lynne Schofield, and Andy Weltch, who said: “We're very grateful again to Corporate Live Wire for this recognition, especially when being judged against information platforms across Wales.

"Thanks also to the local businesses which support us and help offset some of the costs of maintaining the site, especially our Premium Partners, Lisa Curtis Estate Agents, JNP Legal, DL Reid Wealth & Finance, and Cardiff Alarm Systems."
