Do you find yourself annoyed at paths overgrown with bushes? Rubbish bins overflowing with trash and poo bags? Concerned about missing railings or with fly tipping? How about potholes in the road?
These are problems regularly posted on local Facebook forums, often seeking the help of local councillors to resolve.

But, did you know, the Cardiff Council app offers a 'Report it' function for all these, and many more, issues?
Simply click on the issue you would like to report. For example “Drainage gully is blocked” then move the map until the pin marks the location. You can then add up to three photographs (though not required) and any other information you think could help the Council locate and deal with the problem.
A follower of Rhiwbina Info recently reported potholes in Porthamal Road on the council app. The very next day the holes were circled with yellow paint to indicate repairs were needed and just a week later the holes were repaired.
If you’d like the council to take action on problems you’ve identified, you can download the app at the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store by searching for ‘Cardiff Gov’.
The app also tells you about recycling and refuse collections, council tax and more.
