Lynne joins Rhiwbina Info team

We're pleased to welcome a new member of the Rhiwbina Info team.

Lynne Schofield joined us last week and has already contributed several articles to the site (see 'recent posts' below).

Brought up in Rhiwbina, Lynne moved back 'home' to the village three years ago.

After a career in the civil service, focusing on social policy, she retired early and now volunteers with Rhiwbina library; Friends of Rhiwbina Library; and Monico Movies. She is also chair of the Independent Monitoring Board at His Majesty's Prison Cardiff.

Lynne, who has two daughters and one black Labrador, said: "I'm delighted to have joined the Rhiwbina Info team and to play a part in keeping residents up to date on news and events across the village and north Cardiff."

Lynne joins our core team of Andy Weltch and Sophie Platt on the award-winning Rhiwbina Info site.
