Cardiff Council is inviting residents to have their say on the future of Welsh‑medium secondary education.

The Council wants to hear from parents and carers, learners, school staff and the wider community about what matters most to them when it comes to Welsh‑medium education in Cardiff.
There will be in-person events in North Cardiff, including a drop-in session at Llanishen Hub on Thursday (19 February) and a public meeting at Lisvane Memorial Hall on Tuesday 24 February.
You can find details and a full list of online and in-person events here.
Cardiff Council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for education, Sarah Merry said: "This is a chance to tell us what’s important to you and help shape how provision develops in a way that is sustainable, inclusive and supports the Welsh language.”
The closing date for responses is 26 March 2026.
