Good luck, Squirrels!


Good luck to Rhiwbina Rugby Football Club, who play in the Welsh Rugby Union’s (WRU) Swalec Plate Final at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday.

The Squirrels beat Llantwit Fardre 16-6 in their semi-final to book their place in the final against Merthyr.

Sunday’s events kick off with Llantwit Major taking on Clwb Rygbi Cymry Caerdydd in the Swalec Bowl at 1pm, then it’s Rhiwbina vs Merthyr at 3.15pm in the Swales Plate and Swalec Cup champions Pontypridd playing 2012 winners Cross Keys in the day’s finale, the Cup final, at 5.35pm.

Tickets for the Finals Day are £10 for adults, £5 for Under 16s and £20 for a family of four. They are available via wru.co.uk/tickets with a print-at-home option and to personal callers from the WRU Store and Ticketline, Westgate Street, Cardiff up until kick-off.
