We are delighted to welcome local care provider Haven Care Cardiff as our newest partner.

Haven was established over 25 years ago as a voluntary befriending service, after money was bequeathed by a member of Rhiwbina Baptist Church, with the stipulation that it should be used for the care of older people in the local community.

Since 1992, Haven has evolved to meet increasing needs and is now a Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) registered domiciliary care provider, delivering regulated care and support services.

Specialising in supporting adults with various health and well-being needs to live independently at home, its services include:

• Help with personal care

• Meal preparation

• Assistance with medication

• Light housework

• Companionship

• Assistance to appointments

• Shopping

• Respite care

A not-for-profit organisation dedicated to serving the local community, Haven was rated 'Excellent' in all three categories – well-being, care and support, leadership and management – in its latest CIW inspection.

"We're delighted to be working with Rhiwbina Info and to be part of a platform that connects local people with trusted services in the community,” said Joanna Blake, manager.

“Haven has been supporting people locally for many years, and we're proud to continue providing high-quality care that helps people remain independent in their own homes."
