North Cardiff Scouts and Guides take to the stage for Gang Show
Scouts, Guides, Cubs, and Brownies from Rhiwbina, Whitchurch, and Llanishen are among those taking to the stage at the New Theatre next week.
They'll be taking part in this year's Cardiff Scout and Guide Gang Show at New Theatre Cardiff from next Wednesday to Saturday (4 to 7 November) with a new production, Beyond the Toy Box.

The show is described as a heartwarming musical adventure packed with laughter, friendship and unforgettable performances for audiences of all ages.
It follows the story of Patch, a ragdoll who arrives in a toy box that young Celyn's mother brings home from a charity shop. Eager to find where he belongs, Patch sets out to make new friends among the toys.
But not everyone welcomes the newcomer. The bitter Toikat and her mischievous companion Volpe have other ideas, leading audiences on a magical journey filled with music, adventure and important lessons about friendship, acceptance and belonging.
Featuring a cast of more than 100 Scouts and Guides from across the Cardiff area, the production represents the culmination of six months of hard work, dedication and creativity. The young performers have spent countless hours rehearsing to deliver another spectacular family show.
The Gang Show has been a cherished fixture at New Theatre Cardiff since 1973, returning every two years, while a smaller pantomime-style production entertains audiences in alternate years.
The show's distinctive red neckerchief is proudly worn by cast members, production teams, backstage crews, wardrobe teams and volunteers, signifying their place within the worldwide Gang Show community.
Beyond the bright lights and applause, Gang Show provides invaluable opportunities for young people to develop confidence, teamwork, leadership and communication skills.
Speaking about this year's production, cast members shared their excitement:
"I can't wait to finally be on stage!"
"I was scared at first as I didn't know anyone, but I've made loads of friends."
"I love the songs we're singing. My favourite is Thunderstruck and Holding Out for a Hero."
Adult volunteers have also witnessed the positive impact the show has on those involved: "I've loved watching their confidence grow. I can't wait to see it all come together and see everyone's hard work pay off."
Tickets for Beyond the Toy Box are available now from New Theatre.
