North Cardiff's parkrun has today (31 May) celebrated its 150th event.
This morning's edition of Llanishen Park parkrun attracted 225 runners, including visitors from as far away at Scotland and South East England.
Llanishen Park parkrun began in 2022. We ran this story when it reached its 100 milestone last year.
Llanishen Park is one of more than 2,000 parkruns in 22 countries (and one of five in Cardiff), offering a free, timed 5k run (or walk) every Saturday morning.
To take part in parkrun, you just need to register (free) online and obtain a personal barcode, then take this to the event for scanning at the finish.
There will be no parkrun in Llanishen next weekend (7 June) due to a soccer tournament in the park. You can find alternative nearby parkruns here.
