...is to go to the Rhiwbina Christmas Festival on Saturday 29 November!
The programme of events for the 2025 Rhiwbina Christmas Festival has been announced.
Activities, focused on Pen-y-dre and Heol-y-Deri, will begin at 4pm and go on until 7pm.
There will be music and family entertainment, arts and crafts stalls, a variety of food and drink. The full programme is as follows:

4.00 Sounds From The Stage by RATS (stage)
4:30 Kinetic School of Performing Arts (stage)
5.00 Christmas Tree Lights Switch-on
(opposite the church)
5.00 Tenovus Community Choir (in Beulah Church)
5.15 Anna and Elsa with songs from Frozen (stage)
5.45 Shiny Happy People all-inclusive choir (stage)
6:15 Stefan Dale with popular songs (stage)

Rhiwbina Councillor Adrian Robson, Lord Mayor of Cardiff, will officially switch on the village Christmas lights and the always popular visit to Father Christmas will take place in the Wendy House.
Booking for Father Christmas is essential, just a few tickets remain for the 6.30pm session here.
The Festival's chosen charity this year is Kidney Wales, which supports and empowers the Welsh kidney community through care, research and awareness.
Volunteers will be fundraising on Saturday and part of the proceeds from the Santa visits will also be donated to the charity.
Partial road closures will be in effect on Pen-y-dre and Heol-y-Deri, from 2pm to 8pm, with vehicle access strictly prohibited so plan your visit ahead and walk wherever possible.
