Rhiwbina Runners celebrated their 10th anniversary with a day-long event that raised more than £1,300 for charity.
Despite the pouring rain last Saturday (30 August), the group had a large turnout of runners and walkers turning up all day, covering an incredible 710km (441 miles) between them.

One run-leader clocked up over 50km, running multiple laps of the loops, which spelt out '10' on the Strava running app, as well as taking a group on a guided trail run up the Wenallt.
"The turnout was incredible, with children and pets also taking part, and everyone doing their bit to contribute to the final total," Rachel Flint told us.
"The day started with a parkrun, followed by endless loops, a group trail run, and a final mass run.
"Even at the end when it was lashing down with rain, around 30 people took part in the mass finale around Caedelyn Park.
"The amount of people who turned up, despite the hideous weather, I think goes to show how much people love being part of Rhiwbina Runners. We all love spending time together and running so much, that even being soaked to the skin wasn't going to stop us".

The day raised more than £1,300, which will be split between the MS Society and City Hospice, two charities which - we are delighted to have managed to raise so much for two charities which have helped group members in recent years.
They also received a very generous £500 donation from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous, which will be sent directly to City Hospice.
Rhiwbina Runners meet every Wednesday at 6.30pm outside Northwood Estate Agents to chat and run together on routes which take them around North Cardiff.
