The Council have stopped the contractor planning of any further streets and instructed them to concentrate on resurfacing the streets already open. Unfortunately it is going to take 2/3 days to achieve this (weather permitting).
The Council will be introducing constraints on the contractor on the number of sites that can be planned and will ensure that Council staff enforce.
We have also expressed our views to the Council that residents need to be fully briefed on any changes to the schedule. We have offered to leaflet the houses directly as we are keen to keep residents advised and we are waiting to hear back on our suggestion.
