Rhiwbina Tennis Club is in the running for two awards at the annual Tennis Wales Awards.
The Ladies 1st team is on the shortlist for the Team of the Year award and Abbie Lake is shortlisted in the Young Volunteer category.
The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday 26th January 2019 at the Village, St David’s Hotel in Ewloe, Flintshire, and will be hosted by TV news presenter Lewis Vaughan Jones.

In January this year (2018), Rhiwbina TC won the Competition of the Year (2017) award for hosting the Welsh ITF (International Tennis Federation) Seniors Open. An in 2017, the club was named Club of the Year at the 2016 awards.
