The made-in-Rhiwbina short film Annalium 8: Sssss is coming to a screen near you!
If you missed it at Monico Movies last month or at its other South Wales screenings, don’t worry – you’ll be able to watch it on YouTube from next month [7 December 2023].
The online release follows a successful series of big-screen showings: at Cardiff’s Chapter Arts Centre; Rhiwbina’s community cinema, Monico Movies; and at Newbridge Memo as a Halloween curtain raiser to The Exorcist.
The film, directed by Andrew ‘Griff’ Griffin, stars Francesca Louise White and Minaii Baelfire. Francesca is an award-winning actress, and Minaii holds the distinction of being the world’s first Black Young Elsa in a stage production of Frozen.
It was written by Rhiwbina-born-and-raised Robert Lancey and was filmed locally, with a mainly local crew.
Annalium 8: Sssss will be available online here from the evening of Thursday 7th December.
