We have been sent some wonderful old pictures from Rhiwbina’s past.
Martin Smart contacted us with these shots featuring the garage and Rhiwbina Tea Gardens which his grandfather opened in 1916 and which closed in 1987.
“The site is now occupied by housing (Clos Yr Ardd),” he explained. “My father also had Brook Garage in Rhiwbina village, which is now occupied by Nest.”
