Rhiwbina project will help cut costs of school dress-up days

The Rhiwbina Eco Team is launching a new Dress Up Shop to help parents with the costs of school dress-up days.

Starting in April, the project is a collaboration with Rhiwbeina Primary School PTA, Repair Cafe Wales in Rhiwbina, and Tenovus in Rhiwbina.

It will take place at the monthly Rhiwbina Repair Cafe in Canolfan Beulah, organised by Siop Sero, starting on Sunday 7 April.

The Dress Up Shop will take your used costumes, including those in need of repair, and sell them onto someone who needs them. Each costume will be £2.

If you'd like to donate a costume, you can take it to the Tenovus shop at 8c Heol y Deri, direct to the Dress Up Shop at the Repair Cafe (first Sunday of every month 2.30pm - 4.30pm), or to Rhwbeina Primary school's office.

If you are interested in helping out at the Dress Up Shop on a rota basis, please contact the Rhiwbina Eco Team rhiwbinaecoteam@gmail.com
