Podium Therapies team expands with post-breast cancer specialist care
Promotional Content:
Our premium partner, Podium Therapies, has expanded its team with the arrival of Tor Ridout, a specialist physiotherapist, who will be available to support anyone who has experienced breast cancer, with physiotherapy and scar therapy.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with around 59,000 new cases diagnosed in women and about 420 in men each year.
The vast majority, 81%, of those diagnosed will have surgery as part of their treatment, 36% will undergo chemotherapy, 62% will have radiotherapy and around 80% will be advised to take hormone therapy for a significant number of years.
Treatment can have lasting effects on the body, even years after it has finished. From scar tightness and cording to reduced shoulder mobility and changes in tissue sensitivity, recovery can involve much more than simply waiting for a surgical wound to heal.
Tor has joined the Podium team to provide compassionate, individualised physiotherapy and scar therapy, to help you move, feel stronger, and return to the activities you love.

You can book online now and find out more about breast cancer physiotherapy and scar therapy here.
Meanwhile, clients and prospective clients, friends, and family are invited to a Christmas drinks and cakes afternoon at Podium Therapies on Sunday 6 December (12pm-4pm) - a great chance to meet the team and find out about the treatments available.
Everyone is welcome to come along to Podium Therapies at 1 Lon Ucha, Rhiwbina, CF14 6HL. Tell them Rhiwbina Info sent you!
