Laughs ahead! It's Rhiwbina's first comedy festival

The first Rhiwbina Comedy Festival takes place this month (28 - 31 March), featuring 28 comics (and one choir) playing nine shows at four venues over four days.

The line-up features top comedians from all over the UK including stars of TV's Mock The Week, Live at the Apollo, and Have I Got News For You.

"We have spent the last two years with Rhiwbina as our regular home across several venues and have brought lots of top UK comics to Rhiwbina, " said organiser Carl Morgan, the man behind Beefy's Comedy Club.

"The festival starts with our Comedy and Curry opening show on Thursday 28th," he explained.

"We then have six traditional comedy club shows and one children’s comedy show across Friday and Saturday and close the weekend with a celebration of Wales on the 31st".

The venues are: Juboraj Rhiwbina, The Nine Giants, The Deri Inn, and Ye Olde Butchers Arms. Tickets are available from £15, except for the Saturday children's show, which is free entry.
