A leading litigation lawyer and entrepreneur will reveal some of the secrets of his success at an event organised by Leadership and Management Wales.
Chris Nott, commercial litigation lawyer and managing partner at Capital Law LLP, will speak at Capital Building, Tyndall Street, Cardiff, on Tuesday 10th March. Capital Building is home to Capital Law and its sister training and consultancy business, Consult Capital.
Entitled Spotting Opportunities – Entrepreneurial leadership across sectors, this event provides the opportunity to gain insight into how Chris has developed his leadership style and combined his work at Capital Law with other commitments, including founding and chairing the pub and restaurant group, Knife and Fork Food Ltd.
Chris has been a non-executive director of Cardiff Blues since the rugby region was formed 10 years ago, and sits on several boards, as well as being a sought-after adviser to private and public sector organisations.
“This promises to be a really fascinating event,” said LMW chief executive, Dr Barrie Kennard. “Chris is a fantastic example of entrepreneurship across various sectors. Not content with being a hugely successful leader in the legal profession, Chris has branched out into hospitality and more.
“I’m sure he will have valuable insights and experiences to share for anyone involved in, or interested in, leadership and management.”
The event on March 10th starts at 5.30pm for 6pm and finishes at 8pm. Refreshments are provided and attendance is free, but must be booked in advance, as places are limited.
It is aimed at current or aspiring leaders and managers in Welsh private sector organisations.
