DREAMBOATS AND PETTICOATS: JOYFUL MUSICAL BRINGING BACK THE GOOD TIMES

The feel-good musical Dreamboats and Petticoats: Bringing on Back the Good Times!, the popular sequel to Dreamboats and Petticoats opened at The New Theatre last night (Monday 11 April).

This is the third instalment of the Dreamboats and Petticoats series, and it is joyful – a fantastic show of classic songs and spectacular dance routines.

Set in the ’60s, it follows the lives of Laura and Bobby, Norman and the rest of ‘The Conquests’ as they try to make it in the music industry.

It’s inspired by fantastic songs that will have you singing along and dancing in your seats. Featuring songs such as Pretty Woman and Bringing on Back the Good Times which are all performed in a unique way. The star performance, being a beautiful rendition of Blue Moon, will have you appreciating the talents of these performers.

Starring Elizabeth Carter as Laura, David Ribi as Bobby, and Mark Wynter as Larry, the show portrays the struggles of life and what you can achieve when you dream.

Aside from the acting, the scenes are perfectly detailed and will transport you to the ’60s for you to live and reminisce of the times had.

Directed by Bill Kenright from the book by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, Dreamboats and Petticoats: Bringing on Back the Good Times! is playing at the New Theatre until Saturday 16 April. Tickets are available from the box office on 0343 310 0041 or online by clicking here.
