Road closures for the Cardiff 10k this weekend
There will be road closures in Cardiff on Sunday (6 September) for the Kidney Wales Cardiff 10k. The event starts at 10am, and there will be a rolling road closure in place from 9am until 1pm along the route. To set up the race village, from 5am on Saturday until 6pm on Sunday, the following roads will be closed in the Civic Centre: King Edward VII Avenue, Corbett Road, Museum Avenue, City Hall Road, College Road and Gorsedd Gardens Road. Meet Rhiwbina's superheroes - the Welsh Avengers!
Get ready to meet Rhiwbina's own band of superheroes - Capten Cymru and the Welsh Avengers! Their comedy adventures have been captured on film - mostly shot in Rhiwbina - and will be premiered at a free show in Ye Olde Butchers Arms on 16 September, along with sketches, stand-up comedy, and a raffle.
