The Rhiwbina-based national soccer magazine for Wales is the latest business to support the Rhiwbina Info website.
Welsh Football magazine has been edited and published in Rhiwbina for more than a quarter-century. A not-for-profit, fan-run – but high quality – print magazine, it comes out eight times per season and covers everything from the Wales national team to the Welsh Premier League to the grassroots game.
Editor and publisher, David Collins, told us: “The mainstream media only seems interested in the English football leagues, neglecting Welsh football, and I think it’s very important that Wales has its own national soccer magazine, as befits a separate, independent nation in FIFA and UEFA. So we try to redress the balance.
“I also think it’s important that we remain a printed publication alongside our web and social media activity – print still provides a permanent record and a reference source that the digital world doesn’t.
“As a resident of Rhiwbina for over 35 years, I’m delighted to be promoting the magazine with Rhiwbina Info. Like many people I’m always keen to support local businesses and initiatives – but I’d also like to boost Welsh Football magazine’s profile locally – we’ve been publishing here for 25 years, but how well-known is that?”
There are special reduced rates on subscriptions for delivery to local addresses – please contact the magazine for details.
Welsh Football has taken out an enhanced listing on our local services page. If you’d like to find out how to promote your business on the site, please get in touch at email@example.com
