If you’re inspired by last week’s Velothon Wales, why not try Shelter Cymru’s ‘Castles & Cathedrals’? It’s an end-of-season challenge with a choice of three spectacular routes.
All routes start and finish in Llandaff and travel into the Rhondda Valley before splitting off from each other, with the Castles Grande Route heading into the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Riders will return to Cardiff for the end of the challenge for food and to collect their medals.
The routes are:
Castles Piccolo – 30 Miles (2,298 feet of climbing)
Castles Medio – 50 Miles (4,631 feet of climbing)
Castles Grande – 93 Miles (7,893 feet of climbing)
Entries close on Tuesday 9th October 2018.
You can register for any of the routes free of charge if you commit to raising £150 for Shelter Cymru. You’ll receive a complimentary branded cycling jersey and water bottle to say “diolch”.
For details see the Castles and Cathedrals website.
